got a .docx document from your manager? Who was never convinced that he really doesn't need it.

He only uses very basic formatting and features, so he is actually doesn't need to save it in docx, but he just doesn't want to do the extra effort of clicking "Save As" and chosing the format that you can use, in my case was a simple .doc (office 2002 default format)

Any way, the solutions was at http://www.oooninja.com, they have a converter odf-converter-1.1-7

it just works, not sure how well it does the job but it was ok for me
